Across the UK almost sixty local branches of the club get together to co-ordinate local shows and run-outs, run technical or video nights, but mainly just to chew the cud with like minded people in a convivial environment. Most branches meet once a month, usually at a pub or social club's function room or similar, and have an elected branch committee, but others prefer a more informal structure and are just a bunch of people meeing up for lunch.

We know that branch nights are an acquired taste, and so all branches operate a 'try before you buy' system and are happy to have people drop in a few times to see if it's for them. Some people don't find the branch network useful, but many of our branches find their meetings to be an essential part of their members month. It's not compulsory to be a member of a local branch to be a member of the MMOC itself, or vice versa.
